Daily Prayers (574 Watt St.)
- Fajr (pre-dawn) — begin the day with remembrance

- ‘Ishā’ (evening) — close the day with peace
Jumu‘ah (Friday)
- Location: Chalmers Community Centre
- Service: Khutbah (sermon) + congregational prayer
- Attendance: ~200 worshippers weekly
Ramadan at WRIC
- Iftar (fast-breaking) served daily during Ramadan with volunteer support.
Additional Services
- Marriage (Nikah): Islamic marriage contracts in compliance with Manitoba/Canadian law
- Funeral Support: Dignified, affordable arrangements aligned with Islamic teachings
- Spiritual Counselling: Free, appointment-based counseling for youth, adults, couples, and seniors (referrals provided where needed)
- Accessibility & Rides: Volunteer-coordinated rides for people with disabilities
- Religious Workshops: Practical sessions on faith and contemporary issues
- Hajj & ‘Umrah Guidance: Workshops and accurate, up-to-date resources (online & at the Centre)
Weekend Islamic School (Ages 6–15)
When: Saturdays & Sundays, 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
What: Qur’anic reading, basic Islamic studies, adab (etiquette), and introductory Arabic (reading/writing)
How it helps: Builds fluent Qur’an readers/memorizers, strengthens identity, nurtures values, and supports positive contribution to society
Delivery: Led by the Imam with trained volunteer teachers
Sisters-to-Sisters Weekly Gathering
When: Friday
What: Faith learning, storytelling, culture & history + social activities
We open our doors to neighbours of all backgrounds to build trust, reduce stereotypes, and foster belonging.

- How it works: Register by calling the mosque; basic financial-need criteria apply
- What we provide: Monthly food hampers (avg. ~250 lbs/month), serving ~30–40 people
- How it’s possible: Donations from community members and local businesses + WRIC volunteers (sorting, hampers, pickup/delivery)
- Our goal: Expand services as charitable funding grows
Our Programs
A Quran class for all ages is held every weekend, focusing on Quranic recitation, understanding, and memorization.
A special Quran class tailored for women to study the Quran, discuss its meanings, and share spiritual insights.
We offer a structured Quran memorization class for those dedicated to learning and preserving the Quran in their hearts.
Every Friday, we hold a sermon and Jumu’ah prayer, offering spiritual guidance and inspiration for the week ahead. Khutbah starts at 12:50PM Prayer held at the Chalmers Community Centre.
Our weekly halaqah (study circle) for youthcovers various topics on Islamic faith, spirituality, and personal development, encouraging continuous learning and discussion.
The After School Study Club at the masjid offers students a supportive environment to complete homework, study, and strengthen their academic skills. Guided by experienced mentors, the club emphasizes both learning and spiritual growth. Ideal for students seeking a productive, focused space to excel in their studies.
